HowTube #1: how to install fonts

To install a font

  1. When you download a font from a website (dafont.com) you should have a .zip or .rar file, you need to extract it using Winrar or winzip software (make sure you have that)
  2. Open Fonts by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking Appearance and Personalization, and then clicking Fonts.
  3. Click File, and then click Install New Font.
If you don’t see the File menu, press ALT.
  4. In the Add Fonts dialog box, under Drives, click the drive where the font that you want to install is located (where did you extract your font).
  5. Under Folders, double-click the folder containing the fonts that you want to add.
  6. Under List of fonts, click the font that you want to add, and then click Install
